Photoshop Pop Quiz

  1. What is the standard resolution for images made for the web? 72, however, Corrina also mentioned that sometimes you can use 150, but most of the time, generally, the best resolution to use for the web is 72.

  2. What is the standard resolution for images made for print? 300

  3. What 2 types of files should you always save, and what are their purposes? You should first and foremost save the file as a PSD (photoshop) file. This is because it is a working file, which means it is editable and preserves your layers so you can come back and edit again easily if need be. Second, you should save the same piece as a PNG or JPEG file, this is the flattened image.

If there are any questions on where I used anything on the checklist, feel free to email me :)
